{"id":1008,"date":"2021-11-16T08:40:58","date_gmt":"2021-11-16T08:40:58","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/merfish.eu\/?p=1008"},"modified":"2021-11-16T08:40:58","modified_gmt":"2021-11-16T08:40:58","slug":"zero-pollution-stakeholder-platform-and-merfish","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/merfish.eu\/index.php\/2021\/11\/16\/zero-pollution-stakeholder-platform-and-merfish\/","title":{"rendered":"Zero Pollution Stakeholder Platform and MERFISH"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"300\" height=\"199\" src=\"https:\/\/merfish.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/3202_EuropeanCommission.jpg.webp\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1009\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>DG Environment of the European Commission, in cooperation with the Committee of the Regions, has set up a new&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/environment\/zero-pollution-stakeholder-platform_en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Zero Pollution Stakeholder Platform<\/a>&nbsp;to support the implementation of the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/environment\/strategy\/zero-pollution-action-plan_en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Zero Pollution Action Plan<\/a>. The Platform will bring together stakeholders and experts of different policy areas, such as health, agriculture, research and innovation, transport, digitalisation and the environment. It will create co-ownership, promote collaboration, and foster integrated solutions to maximise synergies with decarbonisation and post-COVID 19 recovery effort.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>First Executive Vice President Timmermans and Commissioner Sinkevi\u010dius will open the first meeting of the Stakeholder Platform on 16 December 2021.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>More information and regular updates on the implementation will be made available on the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/environment\/zero-pollution-stakeholder-platform_en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">new website for the Zero Pollution Stakeholder Platform<\/a><strong>.&nbsp;<\/strong>Moreover, interested stakeholders and citizens are invited to<strong>&nbsp;<\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/newsroom\/env\/user-subscriptions\/2522\/create\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">subscribe to the newsletter<\/a>&nbsp;on the Zero Pollution Stakeholder Platform which will be issued soon and provide updates on a regular basis.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>MERFISH project also encourages everybody to make\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/europa.eu\/climate-pact\/pledges\/organisation-and-group-pledging_en\" target=\"_blank\">pledges related to zero pollution through the EU Climate Pact<\/a>. <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>DG Environment of the European Commission, in cooperation with the Committee of the Regions, has set up a new&nbsp;Zero Pollution Stakeholder Platform&nbsp;to support the implementation of the&nbsp;Zero Pollution Action Plan.
